I was just doing some abstract doodling with a dusty Tombow, and I started drawing a weird mechano-rooster, and a bizarre platform. As a silhouette, it reminded me of a weather vane.
I scanned it and added some wrought-iron type detailing in Painter 8, then got to work on what I thought might be a fitting background for such a strange foreground. Did some minor color tweaking on the sky in Paint Shop Pro X, but otherwise its all free-hand, start to finish. |
